WEEKDAYS IN PORTRAIT
A year has 365 days - divided in 52 week by seven days. Thats the rythm our society is following. Which rituals and habits have developed as a result of that rythm? In january 2020 I´ve portrayed "the weekdays" in an solo exhibition. Over a period of seven weeks I created all works that have been shown there. Therefor I´ve had seven days to approach each weekday. Through illustrations and photographs I´ve captured the weeksdays from a personal, social and historic perspective.
